See how Dexter Lumis’ and Indi Hartwell’s wedding turned out
The Dexter Lumis Indi Hartwell wedding gave WWE NXT the first ever wedding on the show. Previously on August 17,2021 Hartwell proposed to Lumis and he accepted. On the inaugural show of NXT 2.0 this week the couple finally decided to get married.
This was met with a fair share of criticism and Johnny Gargano decided to hit back. In response to the hate he said:
“You can have your beliefs on what wrestling “should be”.. but I’ve always believed that it can be whatever you want it to be. Serious, goofy, outlandish, whatever! As long as it makes you feel something. When you get a REAL reaction.. it’s untouchable. I love wrestling.”
A lot of fans were unpleased by how the wedding went underway and some of them made their opinions heard. They wanted to stereotype wrestling but Gargano made sure that his thoughts were heard.
What was the wedding like?
The wedding of Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell was some show to watch. After Hartwell said her vows Lumis decided to say his vows by showing him the sign of thumbs up.
When the priest was trying to make Lumis say his vows with words Lumis ended up choking the priest out. The wedding needed to go on so Beth Phoenix decided to take the matters in her own hands and officiated the wedding. This gave fans the opportunity to hear something come out of Lumis’ mouth for the first time ever when he said “I do.”
The opening show of NXT 2.0 proved to be a historic one as the brand saw it’s first wedding and the fans heard Lumis say something for the first time since his arrival.
