WWE Superstar Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” has praised Israel Adesanya following his successful title defence
Dwayne Johnson, aka WWE Superstar “The Rock“, heaped praise on Israel Adesanya after his successful title defence against Robert Whittaker in the UFC 271.
After “The Last Stylebender” was declared the winner. The Rock took to Twitter and congratulated Adesanya. He mentioned how incredible it was when Israel was breathing only through his nose midway. Then, he said, “Discipline”.

Adesanya got over the line with precise striking and showcased supreme takedown defence to outpoint Whittaker. However, his tremendous endurance and discipline made him the champion again.
Israel has now got two victories over Whittaker after notching his fourth successful title defence of the UFC middleweight title. Dwayne has been a supporter of Nigerian born UFC Superstar for a long time.
Last June, also Johnson gave a shoutout to Adesanya after his dominant performance against Marvin Vettori in the UFC 263. He posted a video on Instagram with a big caption about his pride in Israel.
“Proud of you Uso, and like we talked about, we never just want to play in the game – we want to change the way the game is played.”

Israel Adesanya has been a big fan of pro wrestling and is currently one of the biggest names in MMA. At UFC 271, Adesanya successfully defended his title for the fourth time after a unanimous decision win over Robert Whittaker.
UFC fighter Adesanya was completely surprised after seeing WWE Hall of Famer Booker T among the media members at the UFC 271 post-fight press conference.
He suddenly saw Booker and said, “Is that really Booker T”? It was a fanboy moment for Adesanya as he kept saying five times and also exchanged gratitudes.
