The WWE Superstars shared who would win the Randy Orton vs Edge clash
WWE Backlash has one big grudge match which is Randy Orton vs Edge.
The pair had met in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36 with Edge coming out as the victor.
The Rated-R Superstar had been out of WWE action for almost a decade. However, he returned to the WWE at the 2020 Royal Rumble. Edge didn’t win the Rumble but set up a rivalry against former tag partner Orton.
WWE has promoted this clash as the ‘Greatest Wrestling Match’ and it seems to have split opinions regarding who will win.
Many stars decided to speak out about the clash with Dolph Ziggler suggesting that Randy Orton would come out on top.
Alexa Bliss was more concerned about the attire she was wearing from Orton while Elias went on to say that Edge has the “heart” to get the win.
RKO out of nowhere
Otis spoke about Orton being the Viper and pulling off the win by doing whatever it takes. Cedric Alexander went on to say that an RKO out of nowhere could be awaiting, something that Dana Brooke also highlighted.
Further, Liv Morgan also backed Edge to get the win, but the New Day pairing of Big E and Kofi Kingston had the most hilarious result.
They both wanted Edge and Orton to lose on the night, and that might not be possible unless the pair knock each other out cold.
Orton vs Edge at WrestleMania was something brilliant, even though the match felt a little long. Keeping the pair inside the ring without any shenanigans should show off their abilities. Edge and Orton are still two of the best in WWE, and they could bring the house down at Backlash.
