Many WWE stars backed the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the Miami Heat as the 2020 NBA Finals is upon us

The 2020 NBA Finals will be played between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Many had picked the Lakers to reach the finals after they paired Anthony Davis with LeBron James.

However, the story of the NBA Playoffs has to be about the Miami Heat. The unheralded side is being led by NBA veteran Jimmy Butler and has defeated the Boston Celtics and the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks to reach the finals.

Many WWE stars backed the Lakers to win with the Street Profits egging them on to win in five games.

Angelo Dawkins has vocally supported the Lakers ever since the Playoffs started and even mocked the Clippers when they were knocked out.

Keith Lee, Lana, Natalya, Dolph Ziggler and Liv Morgan all backed the team from California to get another NBA title.

No Cinderella story

Charly Caruso also backed the Lakers to win and she didn’t believe the Cinderella story of the Heat would take place, even though she wanted it.

One star that didn’t back the Lakers was Kayla Braxton. She wanted the Heat to win the NBA Finals and even joked that James was a traitor.

LeBron James (R) has a lot of work to do with the Lakers this season

The Lakers star won a couple of times with the Heat before he returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers and led them to the title.

Titus O’Neil also backed the Lakers to win and it will be interesting to see how the best of seven finals goes.

The Lakers have had an emotional season with the legendary Kobe Bryant passing away with his daughter in a tragic helicopter crash.

The Lakers have worn special jerseys during all this but Butler and the Heat cannot be taken lightly.
