WWE Superstar Duodrop release statements aftershock release of Eva Marie
Raw Superstar Doudrop has been left heartbroken after hearing the news of Eva Marie being released by WWE last week. However, she has been a mentor for Doudrop.
Doudrop recently had an interaction with Metro (h/t Wrestling Inc.) where she talked about how sad she is about her release and hopes that Mare makes a return to WWE down the road. She said that Marie is like a big sister to me.
Mare is one of the nicest people and has a hilarious story with them, and she loves her a lot.
“Honestly, I’m absolutely heartbroken because that woman is a big sister to me,” “Behind the scenes, she is the nicest person you will ever meet… Every single person, she’s got a funny story with them. I just love her so much.”
Doudrop hopes to see her former on-screen Mentor return to WWE
Eva was a mentor for Doudrop when she started her journey in WWE. Doudrop mentioned that she would definitely like to see WWE again and was amazing as a heel.
“I hope it’s not the last we’ve seen of her in WWE, I think she’s amazing,” Doudrop said of Marie. “When you see her in real life, you’re like… you’re amazing at being a heel. But time will tell – who knows what will happen in this crazy world?”
She also thanked her for transforming her from WWE UK to WWE’s main roster and it was Marie who guided her.
“I feel like everything that has been thrown at me, I’ve knocked out of the park – especially being with Eva,” Doudrop reflected. “She obviously has been here before, so for me it was a bit calming to have someone that had the experience, and who could guide me.”
Eva has been a great female wrestler and even fans will be hoping for her return to WWE someday.
