Doudrop wants to win the Men’s Royal Rumble one day
WWE star Doudrop is slowly growing into the top faces in the company’s women’s roster and has her eyes set on bigger goals. While one would expect that she would want to win the women’s Royal Rumble, that’s not the case. Instead, she wants to win the men’s Royal Rumble.
Recently while speaking to Metro, Doudrop opened up on her dream of winning the men’s Royal Rumble. She said:
“I know they have a pretty hard stance on things, but it’s always been a dream of mine to be the first woman to win the male Rumble. Whether that even comes into fruition or not, we’ll see but that’s always been a dream of mine. You’ve just gotta hope. I think if anyone can do it, it’s gotta be Doudrop, right? I’d love to be in a Men’s Royal Rumble, and I’d absolutely love to win it. I fancy my chances!”
A few women of WWE have participated in the men’s Royal Rumble over the years, notably Beth Phoenix, Chyna and Nia Jax. However, none of them have won it. Moreover, WWE started the women’s Royal Rumble in 2018. It seems like the women’s Royal Rumble does not appeal to Doudrop who has her eyes set on a greater target.
It is almost next to impossible that WWE let’s Doudrop or any other women’s wrestler in that matter to win the men’s Royal Rumble. Because can spoil the storyline leading up to WreslteMania as the winner challenges for the title. But if it did, it will be a historic moment for the women’s wrestler and also for the company, Moreover, it will be something that the fans would love to see just for the sake of it.
