Paige is one of the biggest female stars in WWE and her return to in-ring competition is something to look forward too.
The former Divas champion was expected to face-off against Bayley on last week’s SmackDown. However, the coronavirus pandemic affected the show and Paige couldn’t make it to the show.
Paige hasn’t wrestled in WWE for a couple of years but has spoken of a return recently. Another star on the same boat is Nia Jax. The former Raw Women’s champion has been out of action after undergoing surgery to repair both ACLs in her knees.
Jax and Paige have often spoken about teaming up in the future, but not as tag partners. Paige has been pushed as the manager and Jax as the monster who can take out any opponent.
That was something a Twitter user used to create a brilliant cartoon of the pair. While Jax first said she loved the design, the recovering star then Tweeted a message from Paige too:
The British star has been a Raw GM and also the manager for the Kabuki Warriors in recent months.
She was relieved of those duties post an attack, but Paige actually underwent neck surgery and has been recovering well.
It would be great to see the pair return to a WWE ring soon, however, the safety of both performers is important at the moment.
Paige also would be a great addition to the women’s roster that is now overloaded with quality fighters.
Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte and Natalya are great on the main brands while there are several quality stars on NXT.
Shayna Baszler has also done well since coming up from NXT and will fight Lynch for the Raw title at WrestleMania.
Paige and Jax would fit well into the scheme of things on either brand and hopefully, we see them in the ring soon.
