Drew McIntyre and Sheamus got embroiled in a brutal battle on RAW this week and picked up some injuries too

This week’s WWE Monday Night RAW saw sworn enemies Sheamus and Drew McIntyre go head-to-head in a No Disqualification match.

Putting those two against each other in a No DQ fight is always calling for trouble. And the battle of Scotland vs Ireland got out of hand.

‘The Chosen One’ started the attack even before the bell rang, and things only went downhill from there. The two, who were once good friends, went back and forth like a wrecking ball.

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus used to be good friends on WWE and now shared their injury photos from recent RAW encounter.

It included attacks by kendo sticks and steel chairs. The action mostly took place outside of the ring and carnage got out of control.

It got to a point where the referee had to call off the match due to injuries to both the fighters.

And the two superstars shared the aftermath of the fight. Both of them suffered brutal lacerations and cuts as a result of it.

‘The Celtic Warrior’ posted a photo of his back with clear red marks that resulted from the beating he was handed by McIntyre.

The Scotsman then quote-retweeted the photo with a photo of his own. His injuries looked even worse and more painful. This surely can’t be make up and the physical toll that the fight took on the duo is evident.

The two have re-entered into what has come to be a fierce rivalry on the show. McIntyre recently lost his WWE Championship to The Miz at Elimination Chamber.

And it seems like this feud with the Irishman is what will keep him occupied until he has a shot at the current champion, Bobby Lashley, sometime soon in the future.
