Drew McIntyre includes stars such as John Cena, The Rock, and The Undertaker in his wrestling Mt Rushmore
Mount Rushmore is one of the most iconic sculptures in the United States of America. ‘The Shrine of Democracy’ contains the sculpted face of four of the most influential USA Presidents.
And recently dethroned WWE champion, Drew McIntyre, was asked by BleacherReport to make a wrestling version of the moment.
The Scotsman probably did not understand (or didn’t want to follow) the rules of the question as he did not stick with the traditional four-name answer.
And he went on to include a bucket-load of superstars as he named Ric Flair, John Cena, The Rock, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Triple H.
And he still didn’t want to stop there.
“Flair, Taker, Cena, Austin, Rock, Michaels, Hunter. I’m missing people and this is already too many. I don’t know…I’ll say I’m foreign, I’m not from here, I don’t know how many [presidents on Mount Rushmore] and I’ll have 10.”
It almost seems like there was a meeting between all the WWE talent where they unanimously agreed to answering Cesaro when asked who the most underrated WWE superstar is.
And McIntyre answered in the same vein when he gave his views on which WWE star deserves a push to the main events next.
Not just that, he even thinks that the Swiss superstar could get a match against him in order to reach his true potential.
“if they give this the right build, present Cesaro in a way that highlights his strengths and get to that match; it’d be cool to see Cesaro break into the next level and finally have a match with Drew McIntyre.”
Now that’s some self-confidence from the Scot, but you wouldn’t come to expect anything less from him. It would actually be great seeing Cesaro getting the push he deserves, and a fight against McIntyre for a title may be the way to go.
