Drew McIntyre is one of the top superstars in WWE currently. He is a two-time WWE Champion and currently plies his trade on the SmackDown brand.
The Scottish Warrior has been busy promoting WWE’s first major stadium event in the United Kingdom in 30 years. Drew McIntyre was last seen on WWE television at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view. He teamed up with Randy Orton and Riddle to face Roman Reigns and The Usos in a losing cause.
We have seen just the beginning of McIntyre’s feud with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It is only going to intensify over the next few weeks if reports are to be believed.
McIntyre recently put out a couple of tweets. In the first one, he thanked Cardiff for its hospitality and said that the next time he will be in the town, he will do battle. He also wanted to see the Principality Stadium packed to the rafters for the event and requested the fans to book their tickets.
“Thank you Cardiff for the hospitality once again, next time I’m in town we’re going to battle and I want the @principalitysta packed to the rafters So don’t youuuu forget to get your #WWEClash tickets”
“40k tickets already sold!” – Drew McIntyre provided an update on the tickets sold
Drew McIntyre is quite excited to wrestle in what would be a momentous occasion on Saturday, September 3, 2022 when Clash at the Castle commences.
The 36-year-old quote retweeted his previous tweet and wrote how excited everyone is for the event. He informed that 40K tickets have already been sold. He went on to mention that he cannot wait to return to Cardiff in September and win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
McIntyre ended the tweet by confirming that he will be back on next week’s episode of WWE’s blue brand. Maybe we will get to see a confrontation between McIntyre and Reigns next week.
“So much excitement for #WWECastle.. over 40k tickets already sold! I cannot wait to come back in September and win the Undisputed @WWE Universal Championship in front of this crowd.. I鈥檒l be back on #Smackdown next week!”
