Drew McIntyre is going to WrestleMania 37 to win back his WWE Championship
The past few years have been amazing for Drew McIntyre. He has come from the bottom and earned his way at the top despite being fired by the promotion at one time.
McIntyre, whose real name is Andrew McLean Galloway IV, put in the work and became the WWE champion at WrestleMania 36 after beating the beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar.
And it has been smooth sailing for him inside the ring ever since. He did lose his title to The Miz at Elimination Chamber, who then lost it to Bobby Lashley, but it is thought that he would go on to regain it in the future.
Such things don’t go unnoticed in the place where you’re from. ‘The Chosen One’ was born and bred in Glasgow, Scotland.
It is the town of his childhood, and it is the town whose Blue team the former WWE champion supports.

And it is evident that the town has his back too. McIntyre took to his Instagram account to share a photo of a mural that he spotted in Glasgow.
He was made to reflect upon his life and the progress he has made as he wrote in the caption:
“As a kid I traveled to the Glasgow wrestling shop to get WWE figures. I went to Uni there whilst pursuing wrestling, then at ICW we took over the city. Now I’m in the @WWE Title match at #WrestleMania and there’s a frickin mural of me in the G. This life…”
The mural, as visible above, contains a large picture of McIntyre and Lashley. The two are scheduled to go head-to-head for the belt.
Recently, Lashley put out a hit on McIntyre at RAW when he offered anyone a title opportunity if they helped him get the Scotsman out of the title picture.
Baron Corbin capitalized but the fight at WrestleMania between the American and McIntyre is still well and truly on.
