Edge was over the moon as he was on Foo Fighters radio
WWE superstar Edge was the guest DJ on Foo Fighters radio on SiriusXM. The limited-run radio channel is dedicated to the works of the band.
Foo Fighters are one of the most iconic bands in the history of Rock music and are still going strong, 27 years after their inception in 1994.
The radio channel features exclusive songs just from the band. And, it contains weekly live concerts, and exclusive commentary from band members Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, and Rami Jaffee.
The band has a star fan in Adam Copeland, AKA Edge. And ‘The Rated R Superstar’ was a guest DJ on the radio earlier this week.
He shared a post about it on his social media account and expressed his happiness at being able to DJ for a band that he has been listening to for over 25 years.
There is no hiding that Edge is a massive fan of Foo Fighters. He was in attendance when the band played a concert in 2015 and even got to play lead singer Dave Grohl’s guitar.
And not just that, Edge has combined his WWE career with his love for the band as he has used their music several times on the show.
WWE used “Walk”, a song by Foo Fighters to highlight Edge twice. First, it was heard in a video made for his induction into the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame.
And the second time, it was featured in the closing scene of the WWE 24 documentary episode “Edge: The Second Mountain”.
The superstar is now set to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal title at the greatest stage of all, WrestleMania, in 3 weeks time.
