Edge and Beth Phoenix are blessed with two daughters but they don’t seem to watch a lot of WWE
Edge has made quite a comeback to WWE after a serious injury kept him out for close to a decade.
However, his return got a lot of fans talking as he shocked the WWE Universe at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
He was unable to win that match but defied the odds by winning the 2021 Rumble after coming in as the No.1 entrant.
Edge will now headline WrestleMania 37 and is back on top of the mountain. The Canadian is also one of the greatest ever stars in the wrestling business, and his wife, Beth Phoenix, isn’t all that bad too.
Phoenix is a Hall of Famer and Edge was quick to share a photo of their action figures on a toy rack.
However, Edge’s two daughters, Ruby Ever and Lyric Rose, don’t really care about all of these WWE figures:
“Hey, check it out girls, there’s mom and dad! ‘Way to go dad, but where’s the Ninjago section’. They could care less, and to be honest that makes me happy.”
This doesn’t seem to have hurt Edge at all and one fan then asked how the girls reacted to him winning the 2021 Royal Rumble.
Edge commented that the children don’t watch wrestling and it seems the youngsters aren’t fans of the business.
Edge and Phoenix both being on the books of WWE might be one reason why they don’t want the kids to be talking about this all the time.
The two WWE legends need a break from the business and it is to be seen if either of the two girls end up in wrestling in the future.
Many children have followed their parents into wrestling and we can’t rule anything out for now.
Edge looking to gain the gold
Winning the 2021 Royal Rumble was a huge moment in the return of Edge. He can now face either of the top WWE male champions and he has challenged the brand champions already.
Edge vs Roman Reigns is the fight that many want to see and it will be interesting to see if that is confirmed.
The Rated-R Superstar hasn’t been booked for the Elimination Chamber but he can see both Drew McIntyre and Reigns in action as they defend their WWE titles on the PPV later this month.
