Adam Copeland, better known by his in-ring name ‘Edge’, is one of the most recognizable personalities in the world of Wrestling. Having fought n various independent promotions, he is renowned mostly for his time in WWE.
Edge is a wrestler and actor by profession, and has been wrestling for 28 years since making his debut in 1992. He is still active and performs in WWE.

Adam Copeland was born on October 1973, in Orangeville, Ontario in Canada. He was brought by the late Judy Lynn Copeland, who was a single parent and worked two jobs to support her child.
Copeland was interested in wrestling at a young age and credits a WWF match between Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior as the inspiration behind him becoming a wrestler.
However, he put his love wrestling aside and worked multiple jobs to pay the bills at home. He went on to obtain a degree in radio broadcasting at Humber College.
Edge wrestled on the independent circuit in Ontario, Canada, under the name Sexton Hardcastle. He was then recommended to WWF in 1995, and went onto make his debut at a WWF house show in Ontario in May 1996.
He was paid $210-a-week at WWE then, working without a professional contract, until he received a developmental contract in 1997. His moment in the spotlight began in 1998 when he introduced Christian as his storyline brother on the show.
