Edge makes a tongue-in-cheek Randy Orton reference as he finds a snake on his deck
WWE superstars Edge and Randy Orton have been a long-standing rivalry. It came to an end on this week’s Monday Night RAW.
Alexa Bliss distracted The Viper to let Edge steal a victory and end their feud. Before that, the two entered one after the other at the Royal Rumble main event.
The Rated R superstar came in at #1, and he was followed by Orton. And this week, Edge got another sighting of The Viper; this time, at his own house. Well, not exactly.
Edge posted a video of a snake which he found on the deck of his home. Instead of panicking, the 2021 Rumble winner calmly recorded the video and uploaded it to his Instagram account.
He then captioned it, “A snake on our deck or Randy at the Rumble?”. This is probably because of the antics that Orton pulled at the PPV last month.
What next for Randy Orton and Edge?
Around the start of the match, Orton was taken to the back by officials where they were shown treating an injury that he had suffered during his brawl outside the ring with Edge.
He returned just at the end, when Edge thought he had won the match. He hit Edge with an RKO, but that backfired, and The Rated R Superstar managed to eliminate him too for the win.
Orton seems to have finally ended his rivalry with Edge and can focus solely on his ongoing feud with Alexa Bliss.
The two have been involved in thrilling segments in the past few weeks and it is only expected to increase in intensity as the stage for The Fiend’s return is gradually ebing set by the duo.
For Edge, he has to decide he wants to take on for the title at WrestleMania 37. It could be Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, or even Finn Balor. Not a bad dilemma to be in, for sure.
