Edge might be out of WWE action for now but he seems to be doing a lot of work for Vikings
Edge returning to WWE for the Royal Rumble and then featuring at WrestleMania was one of the top stories of 2020.
While the year has been pretty poor with several stars being laid to rest, Edge’s return was one of the bright spots in wrestling.
The Rated-R Superstar was away for almost a decade before he shocked the world at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
Edge then built up a rivalry with Randy Orton which culminated in their WrestleMania brawl. While the Canadian picked up an injury in their rematch at Backlash, he seems to be doing quite well on another front.
Edge has worked on several shows and one of his hit ones has been Vikings. He plays the role of Kjetill Flatnose and spoke about the final season and how much weight he lost for the role.
Losing 37 pounds is no joke but it seems to be for a big storyline in the Vikings series.
Edge might be looking forward to that but it will be interesting to see when he makes a WWE return.
Returning soon?
Edge is still one of the biggest stars in the business, and even at 47, he looked like he was in the shape of his life.
He suffered a torn triceps in the Backlash loss to Orton and was expected to be out for a maximum of eight months.
Hopefully, we get to see the Canadian back in action soon. He could reignite his feud with Orton but the Viper is currently engaged with Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss.
He did burn The Fiend alive at TLC 2020 and that could give Edge the perfect gap to make his return and take out The Viper.
