Edge is the special enforcer at Fastlane in the Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan match
Paul Heyman, the Advocate of Roman Reigns, had a grave warning for Edge ahead of Fastlane.
Reigns is the WWE Universal Champion and defends his title against Daniel Bryan. There is more to this as Edge is the special enforcer in the clash.
The Rated-R superstar beat Jey Uso on SmackDown but was attacked by Reigns right after that.
Reigns and Edge meet for the Universal title at WrestleMania 37. However, Bryan winning at Fastlane would certainly see a change in plans.
Heyman, for his part, is extremely confident of Reigns getting the win. The Tribal Chief has been untouchable since turning heel and becoming the Universal Champion.
He beat Bryan at Elimination Chamber 2021 but that was after a gruelling chamber match for Bryan.
This should be a better fight since Bryan would be fresh against Reigns. However, Heyman also had a warning for Edge:
“All Daniel Bryan is going to catch tomorrow night is an a** whipping so severe that the special enforcer at ring side, Edge, is going to s*** in his pants.
“And he is not going to want to step into the ring at WrestleMania against Roman Reigns.”
Heyman added that Edge would think twice about facing Reigns since the champion is “too violent” in the ring.
Roman Reigns needs a new opponent at WrestleMania
Heyman finished the segment by claiming that Reigns would need a new opponent at WrestleMania since he would deal with two opponents at Fastlane.
The Advocate does know how to raise the stakes and it will be interesting to see what Edge does at Fastlane.
He could play it straight and call it down the line to give both stars an equal chance of winning. However, The Rated-R Superstar has a mean streak in him and could shift the balance of power too.
He could help out Bryan and then possibly face him at WrestleMania or he could take Bryan out and sure Reigns is the one he gets at Mania.
There are several possibilities to what Edge could do and this is going to be one great match.
