Elektra Lopez makes surprise debut at WWE NXT

Elektra Lopez was signed earlier in 2021 after impressive performances at the WWE Performance Centre. Known as Karissa Rivera, she was part of the February class with Gigi Dolin, Cora Jade and Zayda Ramier.

Lopez ended up on the losing end as she battle Franky Monet. Monet delivered a massive forearm before using the Glam Slam to get the win. She is also the daughter of former WWE enhancement talent Steve King.

She made her initial debut on NXT in 2018 as she lost to Lacey Evans in a singles match. Lopez is a former Ring of Honour wrestler and has been part of various promotion across the country including Xtreme Wrestling, North East Wrestling etc.

She also was part of the “local talent” on WWE SmackDown listed as The Brooklyn Belles against The IIconics. Elektra Lopez also has made a rare appearance on the main roster during an episode of the RAW brand.

Lopez had a good debut but came up short against Monet who has won both her matches on NXT. Meanwhile, Lopez will look to recover from her debut loss and learn from the loss.

When was Lopez on WWE RAW?

Lopez played the role of the ex-wife during the feud between Rusev and Bobby Lashley. Lana and Lashley were going to get married in the ring. The wedding was marred by various things including the appearance of Lashley’s ‘ex- wife’. The storyline was one of the best on WWE Raw

Lopez will now be willing to establish herself as a good wrestler in the women’s division. Her experience speaks volumes and it should over the next few weeks.

Lashley and Lana have also moved ages from that storyline as Lana was recently released by WWE. Bobby Lashley is the current champion on WWE Raw and faces Kofi Kingston at Money in the Bank for the title match.
