Mickie James received her belongings in a trash bag after WWE fired her earlier this month
As if it is not enough being fired from your job, WWE paid the ultimate disrespect to Mickie James by sending her belongings to her in a trash bag.
The 41-year-old was among a list of superstars let go off by the show earlier this month. And she posted a photo of the bizarre incident on Twitter.
This, of course, caught the attention of several other former WWE superstars, who scoffed at the promotion for their terrible treatment of female superstars.
And a couple of ex-WWE female wrestlers even revealed that the same thing happened to them. This prompted Stephanie McMahon and Triple H to reply and reveal that the man in charge of the incident had been fired.
The damage control would still not wipe away this incident for a long time which comes to show the attitude of the promotion towards its female wrestlers.
Enzo Amore shares hilarious take on WWE after Mickie James trash bag incident
And another ex-WWE superstar who found the incident quite amusing was Enzo Amore. Amore was fired by WWE in 2018 after allegations of misconduct on him.
He has since fought in Ring of Honour and in various independent circuits, where he fights under the moniker of ‘nZo’.
Amore quoted James’ tweet and wrote that she was lucky that she even got to have her stuff back, implying that WWE never returned Amore’s belongings after he was fired.
His tweet read:
“WTF that鈥檚 crazZzy ….[Droozy emoji] But truth be told, I鈥檓 trying to figure out how you got them to send you ur shit back in the first place …..”
WWE’s PR especially when it comes to respecting its employees has come under fire in recent decades and this incident will not help their case at all.
