On the 19th of April, Raw episode, a rather contrasting tag team featuring WWE veteran Randy Orton and up and coming star Matt Riddle, was formed.

Just 3 months into their establishment, the RK-Bro as they are known, have become one of the most entertaining elements in the promotion.

Although, RK-Bro hasn’t struck gold in the tag team department, they have produced a myriad of memorable moments, impressing a legion of fans worldwide.

Elsewhere, former general manager of Raw, Eric Bischoff spoke about the recent death of WWE Hall of Famer ‘Mr. Wonderful’ Paul Orndorff (who died on the 12th of July), on his 83 weeks podcast.

During his heydays, Orndorff was a part of an exciting tag team called ‘Pretty Wonderful’ alongside Paul Roma in the WCW. Bischoff compared ‘Pretty Wonderful’ to RK-Bro highlighting the similarity between the two tag teams.

Bischoff stated that he liked the idea of how “contrasts work”, mentioning the contrasting characteristics of Orton and Riddle. He said:

“Roma was a little more flamboyant and Orndorff was a little more dangerous. like that, I like how contrasts work. Randy Orton and the skateboard burn out guy, Matt Riddle. I love that team because that’s just an interesting contrast of characters. It’s like a good buddy cop movie, you generally have contrasting characters that compliment each other and I think that’s the way Paul Roma and Paul Orndorff were.” [via Wrestling Inc]
