Eva Marie explains why she isn’t helping Doudrop during matches

WWE Raw Superstar Eva Marie opens up on new relationship with Doudrop

Eva Marie has revealed the reason behind her recent antics with Doudrop during a tag-team match on WWE Raw.

Marie posted on Twitter with a short caption for her current ally saying:

“It’s called tough love #Evalution.”

Marie walked out on Doudrop during their rematch against Asuka and Naomi. This was payback for the returning WWE star, after Doudrop executed the same move a week earlier. The two have been appearing together since Marie returned after a four-year absence.

Doudrop made her WWE RAW debut facing Naomi in a singles match instead of Marie and got the win in easy fashion. The two haven’t seen eye to eye and may forge a storyline between the two allies.

The former WWE NXT UK star Doudrop has impressed with her partnership with fans expecting a major push for her in the future. Unfortunately, she has been part of the body shaming comments from unruly fans in the past.

The two have had a topsy-turvy partnership in recent weeks on WWE Raw

Doudrop’s chemistry with Marie could go either way with big PPVs lined up in the next few months. With fans returning in July, it’ll be a welcome sight for her as she aims to make it big in the women’s roster.

What is the EVA-lution?

Eva Marie returned with a new gimmick called the ‘EVA-lution.’ She made her return to WWE for the first time since 2017. She self-proclaims an undefeated streak after having Doudrop face her opponent in her first match. The gimmick could lead to another rivalry with one of the top stars in the division.

Her streak could continue on WWE Raw as the pair go into the next few weeks on ‘confusing’ terms. We have to wait and see how the ‘EVA-lution’ takes shape in WWE. Marie could yet head towards the title scene, something which has eluded her in her WWE career.
