Doudrop decided not to help Eva Marie after she did the same to her partner on Raw
Things don’t seem to be right between Eva Marie and Doudrop. Marie gave Piper Niven her new name on Raw and that wasn’t the worst of it.
The pair teamed up for a shot at the WWE Money in the Bank PPV match and they were up against Asuka and Naomi.
This would have been Marie’s first match in WWE since returning. However, she almost ditched Doudrop and made it a 2-on-1.
Doudrop was able to put her team in a great position and when it seemed she was going to win it all, Marie tagged herself in.
This allowed Asuka and Naomi to pick up the win as Doudrop also didn’t help her partner. Niven seemed to be sending a message to Marie, but the returning star was in denial mode after the loss.
Marie claimed that she was still undefeated since her return and added that the match was “rigged”:
Doudrop was in action last week as a replacement for Marie, and she won the singles match. However, Marie took credit for the win, and these are some interesting comments from her.
WWE already splitting Doudrop and Eva Marie?
This twist certainly was unexpected on a different Raw, but it would be incredible if WWE decided to split Marie and Doudrop just a few weeks after they paired up.
Reports have suggested that Marie will not wrestle much on her return. However, she trashed such rumours and this was proof of her doing more wrestling over the coming weeks.
Marie also hitting out at WWE and Doudrop does seem to drive a wedge between the two and it will be interesting to see what happens next week.
