Jinder Mahal made his WWE return flanked by Veer and Shanky on May 10 Episode of RAW
Mahal, the former WWE champion had been sidelined due to injury for an extended period of time. After having made a few appearances in 2020, Mahal once again had a surgery done.
And, it was only last week in the May 10 episode of Monday Night RAW, he returned. Mahal who is usually flanked by the Bollywood Boyz, was backed up by two huge monsters, Veer and Shanky.
It had a lot wondering, who these two were. So who exactly are Veer and Shanky?
Veer is better known by his moniker Rinku Singh
Before joining the WWE, Veer won the reality show Million Dollar Arm, where he came first out of 37000 participants, throwing 87mph with a pitch. This got him into the Pittsburgh Pirates MLB team. However, his stay was short-lived.
In 2018, Veer joined the WWE under the ring name Rinku Singh. He made his in-ring debut at an NXT event in Tampa on the 31st of May, 2018. After his attack on Matt Riddle in March last year, he was named Rinku, and became a part of a team called Indus Sher.
It was only last week when he made his appearance alongside Jinder Mahal, his name was revealed to be Veer.
Shanky is a towering monster
Shanky towers at 7ft 1 inch, enough to even dwarf the humongous Jinder Mahal. He was signed by the WWE in the year 2020. He was initially known as Dilsher Shanky.
And, his first notable appearance in the WWE came in an eight-man tag team match at Superstar Spectacle, earlier this year.
He was renamed Shanky, the same day he and Veer sided with Jinder Mahal.
Shanky was trained by WWE veteran The Great Khali, who is also of the same height as him. With his professional wrestling skillsets yet to be seen, his monstrous appearance could make him go places.
