WWE teases fans with ‘Diamond Mine’ trailer with some believing its Tessa Blanchard
WWE NXT knows how to keep fans on the edge of their seats. And they were at it again on this week’s episode, which now weekly airs on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays.
There was a vignette which appeared that showed a 3D logo stating ‘Diamond Mine’ and the logo then transformed into a 2D one.
The promotion did not make it clear as to what ‘Diamond Mine’ actually is. But it surely looks like another addition in their already stacked female division.
Many fans were led to believe that this could Tessa Blanchard, a 25-year-old third-generation female wrestler who is the daughter of the legendary ‘The Four Horseman’ member, Tully Blanchard.
If that’s the case, then it would be a surprise considering Tully Blanchard is currently employed at AEW. He did, however, make his name in WWF during his own wrestling days.
The reason for many fans to believe this is because of Blanchard’s association with diamonds in her entrance them and wrestling attire.
On top of that, she seems to have had enough experience under her belt and a famous, talented wrestler like her would now definitely be looking to make her way up.
Blanchard currently makes appearances for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and Women of Wrestling (WOW) but made her name largely at Impact Wrestling.
And to add to that, Tessa even tweeted shortly after the Diamond Mine logo was showed on NXT. WWE is believed to have filed for a trademark of that name 4 months ago.
WWE fans took to Twitter to share their views on what ‘Diamond Mine’ could mean and if it’s a wrestler, could it really be Tessa Blanchard, despite her past indiscretions against stars like Chelsea Greene?
