Lana celebrates after beating Nia Jax (WWE)
Lana doesn’t seem to be happy with Charlotte Flair after she took her place at TLC 2020
Lana seemed set to star in another PPV as she was to partner Asuka for the Women’s tag titles at WWE TLC 2020.
However, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, injured Lana before the match. That saw the Ravishing Russian miss a chance to become a champion and she will be sidelined for a reported month or so.
Charlotte Flair was the surprise partner for Asuka at TLC 2020 and the pair went on to dethrone the champions.
Charlotte also picked up her first WWE Women’s tag title and went on to become the latest Grand Slam champion in the promotion.
A team of Asuka and Charlotte could possibly dominate WWE’s tag division and this was a huge comeback for The Queen, who had been out after undergoing breast surgery.
Charlotte looks to be in the shape of her life but this win doesn’t seem to be sitting well with Lana.
While Charlotte and her husband to be, Andrade, celebrated Christmas by posting a couple of photos, Lana also did the same but used quotes on the Charlotte’s nickname, Queen.
Things have been tough for Lana ever since her husband, Rusev (Miro) ended up joining AEW.
She has been sent through tables repeatedly but had improved her in-ring performances a lot. While Lana isn’t the best wrestler in WWE, she has worked hard and TLC 2020 could have been her first title in WWE.
She did play a huge role at Survivor Series where she won the match for Team Raw and had even become a challenger for Asuka’s title.
While she didn’t say much about what was going inside her head, many fans predicted that Lana was still bitter about the TLC 2020 miss.
Charlotte wasn’t to be blamed for all this, however, Lana could have been the champion and that would have been a great way to celebrate this Christmas.
