WWE Superstar Finn Balor speaks on his 20th anniversary of wrestling debut
Finn Balor has been one of the most potential superstars in WWE at this time. He has proven his worth again and again with his manoeuvres and performance. Today he has marked 20 years of a wrestling career.
Balor took to Twitter and posted a heartfelt note to express his feelings towards this day. He wrote about the Journey when he made his debut at Pro-Wrestling in 2001 and send gratitude towards everyone who has helped him in the Journey.
He also wrote about the fans who booked tickets to see him perform on various wrestling promotions. And also mentioned that finally today he has eaten cake.
“Nov 23, 2001, I made my Pro-Wrestling debut Thank you To everyone who helped me along the way, To everyone that cheered & boo’ed at the shows, To Hammerlock, NJPW, NXT, WWE & the Club, To all the men & woman I work with & To my family & wife for unwavering belief. Today I ate cake”
Balor posted a picture of his earlier days and a recent picture to showcase the Journey on social media.
Baylor started his career in NJPW under the ring name of Prince Devitt, where he won several championship titles. He has also performed for NWA and other independent promotions. Balor is a former two-time NWA British Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion.
He signed a contract with WWE on May 15, 2014, and made his debut in October under the name of Finn Balor. He was the longest-reigning NXT champion. However, he was broken by Adam Cole, and he became the inaugural WWE Universal Champion at SummerSlam 2016.
Balor is also a two-time Intercontinental champion, and since the time WWE recognised the NXT Championship, it has made him a three-time world champion.
