Edge returns to wrestle on SmackDown after nearly 10 years and has a warning for Jey Uso
WWE SmackDown ended in an incredible fashion this week with Edge coming out to play as the peacemaker, of sorts.
Daniel Bryan signed the contract to face Roman Reigns for the Universal title at Fastlane. However, Reigns had to be taunted by Bryan before he signed the contract.
There was more to come as an enraged Jey Uso wanted a piece of Bryan. He wanted to become the enforcer for the match on Fastlane but Edge had other plans.
The Rated-R Superstar also wanted to be the enforcer and suggested a match between him and Uso on next week’s show.
Adam Pearce accepted this offer and all four men, minus Pearce, all had a bit of a brawl. It was Bryan who stood tall in the end after he attacked Edge but the legend had some choice words ahead of SmackDown.
Edge’s WWE return has been a bit of a success since he is going to WrestleMania 37. He wants to face Reigns but that could change if Bryan beats The Tribal Chief at Fastlane.
The Rated-R Superstar posted a message on Instagram regarding his wrestling return on SmackDown.
This would be the first time in 10 years he would be wrestling on SmackDown and he posted a warning to Uso as well:
“This Friday on @foxtv For the first time in 10 years I’m in action again on MY show. #Smackdown one on one vs @uceyjucey We gonna travel some rough road Uce. Buckle up.”
Uso also posted a response and he was ready for the fight, and this could be an excellent battle.
Edge doesn’t seem to have lost any of his abilities since making a return to WWE. However, Uso has been exceptional in singles competition.
He might have lost to Bryan in a steel cage match a couple of weeks back, but he will be a real test for Edge.
