Former WWE star Andrade reacts after getting released by company

Andrade was finally released by WWE and the former NXT Champion reacted to this news

Another rising WWE star was released by the company as they confirmed Andrade was no more on their roster.

The former NXT and US Champion had asked for his release recently during a Raw shoot. He was, according to reports, unhappy with his progress in the company but WWE refused to release him.

Charlotte Flair recently posted a photo of training in the gym recently (Twitter)

Andrade wasn’t seen on WWE TV since the 2020 draft and there were teases in the past that he could come out with a new gimmick.

However, no progress was made on that and WWE finally cut the cord between Andrade and the company.

The statement shared by the company was short and simple, similar to what has been done for many stars in the past:

“WWE has come to terms on the release of Andrade. We wish him all the best in all of his future endeavors.”

However, Andrade was pleased at all this and he too shared a small statement just before the news was confirmed online:

What is next for Andrade?

Andrade was a high flying luchador during his early years in wrestling and he could return to that gimmick.

However, this one was working well for him and it was crazy how WWE didn’t use him well. The former NXT and US Champion will have a cooling period before he signs for another company but AEW is one that will be calling out for sure.

Andrade is young, talented and can be a top star in the years to come. WWE’s loss will be a positive for some other company.

The good thing from this is that Andrade wasn’t kept in WWE for a long time and wasted. He has already wasted a few months on the sidelines and it will be interesting to see what is next for him.
