Former WWE Superstar Virgil sends a bold message to WALTER regarding his name change
WWE NXT 2.0 star WALTER has been facing a lot of heat following his controversial name. His name was changed to “Gunther Stark.”
The wrestling community has not accepted the name change as Gunther Stark was a captain lieutenant serving the navy for Nazi Germany during World War II. As a result, the announcement was heavily criticized by the fans.
Former WWE Superstar Virgil has sent a strong message on Twitter to WALTER regarding this name change. He mentioned that WALTER needs to grow a pair and be embarrassed about his new name.
Former Million Dollar Champion even claimed that NXT 2.0 star “begged” him for the photo he posted on Twitter.
“Walter, you need to grow a pair. Seriously you should be embarrassed. Even I who was humiliated as a slave I should have fought harder but this is today. You should know better man. I wish I charged you more for this pic when you begged me for it in the first place.”
WALTER got his name changed to “Gunther Stark” on NXT 2.0
WALTER faced off against Roderick Strong in the main event of this week’s NXT 2.0. The former interrupted the ring announcer and declared that the winner of the match was “Gunter”. Unfortunately, WWE’s Twitter account or website has yet to acknowledge WALTER’s new name.
WWE had trademarked the name Gunther Stark earlier this week. Before WALTER’s move to NXT 2.0, he competed at NXT New Year’s Evil in a six-man tag team match against Riddle and MSK.
