The Hardy Boyz start their last run with former WWE tag team Enzo Amore and Big Cass
Jeff Hardy was shockingly released by the WWE after the star left a live event match in the middle and went home. However, after many word exchanges and drama, things cleared up, and Jeff is moving ahead with his brother Matt.
The most iconic modern tag team of pro wrestling, The Hardy Boyz recently announced that they will be going back to performing as a duo in the independent circuit and their first squaring off is against former WWE tag team superstars.
Northeast Wrestling promotion will witness a match for Sunday, March 27th in Waterbury, Connecticut, which will witness The Hardy Boyz up against former WWE superstars Nzo (aka Enzo Amore) and Caz XL (aka Big Cass) at Crosby High School.
Nzo took to Instagram and shared a promotional picture for the match, and the wrestling fans went total bonkers about this.
The Tag teams of The Hardy Boyz and Nzo-CazXL have met each other before
This won’t be the first time these two tag team heavyweights will go on each other, as both these teams were a part of a massive tag team match at WrestleMania 33, which featured the surprise return of The Hardy Boyz. However, their run ended when Matt Hardy left WWE for AEW in 2020, Jeff is also now out of WWE.
Big Cass once revealed with Inside The Ropes what he whispered in Enzo Amore’s ear when The Hardy Boyz made their huge WWE return at WrestleMania.
I’m sure I said something along the lines of… ‘Did you hear that motherf***ing pop? That was crazy!’ But yeah, being in the ring, like, there was speculation but really… The six people in the ring and the few people backstage were the only people that knew what was about to happen. While we were all in the ring, all six of us with the belt above us, circling each other, we all knew it was about to happen and it’s pretty cool feeling because we were excited and anticipating what was about to happen because we knew how the fans were going to react. So that moment, right before The New Day came out super… It was just, it was really tense but really exciting, and it was cool to be in there with those five other guys. The match will be a treat for the fans as they will be seeing The Hardy Boyz in action together after a very long time.
