WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt is set to return to AEW as per reports
Windham Rotunda, aka Bray Wyatt, was released from his contract, and now as he remains a free agent. Many Wrestling fans have started some speculation about Wyatt signing AEW or Impact, and now it seems like these assumptions will get confirmed.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer mentioned that “The last we heard was that he had the movie gig and didn’t want to come back so soon.”
Meltzer also added that Wyatt was far “apart on the money” with both companies. In the end, he suggested that Wyatt “may not be in a rush to” return to wrestling since he was one of WWE’s highest-paid stars before release.
Wyatt’s close friend, Jason Baker, announced last month that the two would work together on a movie. Baker even said that filming would commence in Tennessee at the end of November.
Tony Khan recently hinted that more wrestlers will soon debut for the company and have also expressed his wish to talk to Wyatt.
There were several reports that Wyatt was released from the company due to multiple factors. At first, he was informed that he was let go due to budget cuts, which was surprising as he was a top merchandise seller.
Later it was reported that he had attitude issues, and Vince McMahon came to dislike Wyatt because he brought critical of WWE creativity.
Wyatt made his final appearance on the post-WrestleMania edition of Raw on April 12.
