Jazz, a former WWE Women’s champion, shocked the world by joining IMPACT ahead of a tournament
Former two-time WWE Women’s champion, Jazz, made a shock return to wrestling by featuring on IMPACT this week.
Jazz was one of the top female talents in WWE during the early 2000s and had several rivalries, including a great one against Trish Stratus.
However, she also was excellent on other promotions and held the NWA World Women’s title for more than 900 days.
The 48-year-old also featured on AEW but retired from wrestling in October 2020 and even vacated her NWA title.
However, she shocked the wrestling world by teaming up with Jordynne Grace ahead of a huge clash. Jazz and Grace will battle Killer Kelly and Renee Michelle next week and this is one match in the Knockouts Tag Team tournament.
The winner of the tournament will become the champion and Jazz was more than ready to get her shot at glory:
While Jazz had a couple of stints in WWE and made her name by winning titles all around the world. She has also done a lot outside of the wrestling ring and has her own gym and wrestling school.
Jazz runs that school with her husband, Rodney Mack, and the pair were also performing together during their time in WWE.
It will be interesting to see if this return to wrestling is a full-time one or just a fleeting appearance. Jazz also made her AEW debut earlier in the year but that was one match at the Casino Battle Royal at All Out, but was eliminated by another former TNA star, ODB, and wasn’t seen since.
Jazz is also part of the Texas Wrestling Hall of Fame and was added in the year 2012.
