Franky Monet made her long-awaited debut on WWE NXT this Tuesday night

This week’s WWE NXT saw the long-awaited in-ring debut of Franky Monet. Formerly at Impact and AAA as Taya Valkyrie, she came to NXT in April with a new name.

Monet, who is the wife of main roster superstar John Morrison, took on Cora Jade in her debut. She made the entrance with her pet Pomeranian, who seems to be a big part of her persona.

The fight saw her dominate Jade from the get-go. That is something that everyone expected, given it was her chance to showcase her arsenal.

She hit the Road to Valhalla to secure a dominant win and after the match, went on to call out NXT women’s champion, Raquel Gonzalez.

She also confronted Gonzalez when she made her NXT debut on April 14th. It seems like Monet will be Raquel’s next rival for the women’s title.

Debuts, especially in the biggest pro-wrestling promotion, are always special for pro wrestlers. And it was for Monet too, who took to her Twitter account after the show and wrote:

“It takes a village….. you all know who you are that pushed me, believed in me and were there for me through the ups and downs of the last 11 years…. WE DID IT!!! [Heart emoji] @WWENXT@WWE#WWEraLOCA

The NXT women’s division is by far the most stacked and talented women’s division in all of pro wrestling at the moment.

The addition of Monet (fka Taya Valkyrie) will only go on to boost that. There were some apprehensions amongst fans about how she would fare on the big stage, but she looked comfortable and aced her audition.

We can expect her to be thrown into the shark tank right away with a few matches against Dakota Kai as a way to build her rivalry against Gonzalez.
