Former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar assigned a brand internally by WWE
Even after the WWE Draft 2021, multiple WWE Superstars were not picked by either Raw or SmackDown brand. Instead, it included one of the biggest names of the company Brock Lesnar.
These superstars became free agents, but finally, WWE has assigned brands to these un-drafted Superstars according to PWInsider.com (h/t Wrestling Inc.)
WWE Female star Asuka was assigned to Raw, Brock Lesnar to SmackDown, Elias to Raw, Lucha House Party to Raw, and Dakota Kai to WWE NXT. However, Bayley, Eva Marie and Lacey Evans were not assigned to any of the brands.
These roster arrangements might change in the future depending on the various WWE creative plans. Additionally, other superstars like John Sena, Titus O’Neil, and Shane McMahon are other free agents who were not drafted.
Brock Lesnar is assigned to SmackDown by WWE
Brock Lesnar, who was suspended indefinitely last week for attacking WWE staff and creating chaos, has been assigned to SmackDown. Asuka was seen last on Raw and has been out since Money in the Banks was recently seen wearing an arm brace.
Marie is currently filing a movie but had a recent angle on Raw. Evans had just become a mother again recently. She was last seen on Raw. Lucha House Party has also been out of action since mid-September.
Bayley underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in mid-July and is expected to be out for 9 months, and Kai was taken off NXT TV since there were rumors of the main roster call-up.
It will be interesting to see how Lesnar arrives after the suspension, but one thing is for sure that he will be going after that Universal Title.
