Former WWE Universal Champion Goldberg to return to WWE this month
According to Sean Ross Sapp of fightful.com, Goldberg will make a return at WWE for a huge Roman Reigns feud. WWE usually brings top superstars before any Saudi Arabia event, and this time it’s Bill.
“Goldberg is set for a WWE return, Fightful Select has learned.“
Fightful Select reported that Bill will be making an “imminent” return to WWE TV, which will even see him wrestle at Elimination Chamber on February 19.
“Fightful has learned that the working plan is for Bill Goldberg to return to WWE imminently. Goldberg’s working strategy has been to work the upcoming Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia. “
The former World Champion had its last match at the Crown Jewel event against Bobby Lashley, which he apparently won.
Bill Goldberg to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title
It has been reported that WWE is planning on having former World Champion involved in the Universal title clash against Reigns.
“The most recent plans that Fightful had heard of were that Goldberg would be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship”
This Goldberg vs Reigns was supposed to happen a few years back at WrestleMania 36. However, due to COVID-19, the match never happened.
WWE was forced to change plans that time as The Tribal Chief pulled out of the show due to COVID related concerns. With only 15 days away from the event, Bill might be returning tonight at Friday Night SmackDown live.
