Former WWE champion John Bradshaw Layfield became the latest entrant into the 2020 Hall of Fame.
The 53-year-old will be remembered for playing the role of a Texas tycoon during his singles run.
However, JBL, as he was called, will also be remembered for his incredible run with Faarooq as part of the APA.
The pair ran through the WWE tag team division and were champions thrice. Layfield also had some big rivalries with the Undertaker but later took on the job of a commentator but left all that to concentrate on his business empire.
That has worked a treat for the former champion and the latest inducted into the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame has also set up several charities to help those in need.
Batista and the nWo were the first two entrants into the 2020 class. The nWo sees Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, X-Pac (Sean Waltman) and Scott Hall get inducted as a team.
However, all of them have been inducted into the Hall of Fame in the past either as individuals or as parts of other factions.
A couple of women were also added to the special list. The Bella Twins don’t feature much in the wrestling department these days, but Brie and Nikki Bella were brilliant during their time in WWE.
The pair were partly responsible for the development of the female division. WWE never really gave their women a lot of importance but the Bellas produced a lot of quality matches and that led to the growth of the division.
Now, the women’s division is filled with top stars such as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Asuka. Some of them have even main evented PPVs, which was almost unthinkable a decade or so ago.
The Hall of Fame ceremony takes place during WrestleMania week, and it will be available on the WWE network.
