Adam Cole seems to be the next Shawn Michaels according to Mark Henry

NXT Champion Adam Cole has been doing a great job since making it to the Black and Gold brand.

The leader of the Undisputed Era is the longest-reigning NXT Champion and there seems to be no stopping him.

Cole seems to have everything in his arsenal and has been getting a lot of praise on the Busted Open podcast.

On the latest episode of the show, Mark Henry decided to compare him with a legend. The Hall of Famer suggested that Cole reminds him a lot of Shawn Michaels:

“I have to say man, you go back to Wednesday and watch NXT, and I would have to say Finn Balor vs Cameron Grimes was off the charts.

“Adam Cole vs Dexter Lumis, and I am saying this from a place of respect for Cole, Adam Cole is really, really good, guys, and he reminds me a lot of Shawn Michaels.

“It’s hard for me to take my eyes off him while he is working because of how polished and fluid he is, and he believes his own bull****.”

Cole has been sensational with the Undisputed Era on NXT and Henry had more praise for the rising star on the show.

Henry went on to say that Cole was the best thing in WWE at the moment. That is a lot to say given the quality of wrestlers WWE has on their roster.

Cole does have a lot going for him, and is exceptional with his promos too. Many have suggested that the UE is ready to a move to Raw or SmackDown.

The NXT Champion would be a huge draw for any of the top two brands. However, WWE have made a meal of several stars moving from the Black and Gold brand.

Cole and the rest of the Era can become a top heel stable anywhere they go, and it will be interesting to see how long they stay on NXT.
