Hit Row were released by WWE ahead of Survivor Series

WWE released a number of stars in the latest round of ‘budgetary cuts’ and one name in the list was Hit Row despite the team gearing up for the Survivor Series.

And after getting sacked, Hit Row members Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis appeared on Busted Open on Saturday.  Isiah “Swerve” Scott was also the one who was invited to the show.

Talking about the releases, Adonis said plans for this week’s SmackDown, Survivor Series, and RAW kept on changing before they got the final call from WWE’s head of talent relations John Laurinaitis.

“Thursday morning was a little weird because we were booked for SmackDown, Survivor Series and RAW and then we were unbooked. They booked us again and then we were unbooked.

“But I remember watching Thursday night football and I missed the call from John Laurinaitis. I called him back, he told me budget cuts and stuff like that, and I was like, ‘thank you.’ It is what it is.”
