Brian Keith Adams died at the age of only 43. He was trained in Japan by Antonio Inoki and wrestled in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the ring name Crush.
Brian Adams was found dead on August 13, 2007, by his wife at their Tampa, Florida home. The medical examiner described that the death was caused as a result of mixing painkiller buprenorphine with the muscle relaxant carisoprodol and the sedatives alprazolam and chlordiazepoxide.
The coroner determined the drugs in his system were individually at therapeutic levels, but the combination of all of them impeded the normal functioning of his respiratory system, leading to his death.
Brian Adams won a fair share of Championships across various promotions and most of them were Tag Team Championships.
In All Japan Pro Wrestling, Adams became the World Tag Team Champion once with Bryan Clark. In Oregon Wrestling Federation (OWF), he became the OWF Tag Team Champion on one occasion with Mike Miller.
He had a successful run in Pacific Northwest Wrestling where he won the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship on two different occasions. Adams also won the NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship on two separate instances. Once with The Grappler and the other time with Steve Doll. He also won the Salem City Tournament in 1988.
In World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Adams won the WCW World Tag Team Championship twice with Bryan Clark. In WWF, he won the WWF World Tag Team Championship once.
