Humberto Carrillo shared an update after a horrific mishap in a match against Sheamus
Carrillo and Sheamus were neck-deep in their match, when Carrillo decided to dive over the ropes and hit the Celtic Warrior with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb.
He executed the move to perfection, but botched the landing. Sheamus unfortunately landed on Carrillo’s knee, leaving the Mexican writhing in pain.
Carrillo quickly signaled to both Sheamus and the referee that something was wrong, even as the referee waved off the match, and Sheamus was declared the winner.
Fans were left worried fearing a serious injury for the Mexican. And, this was the first time Carrillo couldn’t finish a match in his entire wrestling career. He expressed his disappointment over the same over Twitter.
He also called out Sheamus, saying that the war was not over.
Carrillo wrote:
“Last night was the first time I couldn’t finish a match in my whole wrestling career, but when you push the limits as I do anything can happen in a split of second. This is not over @WWESheamus …. untill next time! #WWERaw.”
By the look of his tweet, the injury might probably not be anything serious.
Sheamus is having none of it
Following Carrillo calling out Sheamus saying that it wasn’t over, The Celtic Warrior quickly replied to the Mexican’s tweet, claiming that he had clearly won, since his arm was raised.
He put a question over Carrillo’s plans of a rematch writing, “Next time?”.
Here is what Sheamus had to say:
“..next time? my arm was lifted so it’s game over kid.. #backoftheline“
By the look of things, there is a possibility that their rivalry might extend for quite a long time.
