Tommaso Ciampa lost his final match against Johnny Gargano on NXT
Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano brought the house down in their final fight at WWE NXT.
The rivalry had reached its peak with Triple H stepping in a few weeks back. He wanted both of the stars to put an end to this and one final match was set up.
Gargano got the win, thanks to some controversy, and that seems to have left an impact on Ciampa.
The Blackheart has been the heart and soul of NXT for years, but this big loss seems to have hit him hard.
Ciampa posted an update on Twitter and claimed he wasn’t the ‘Face of NXT’ or even the ‘daddy’ of the NXT title.
The former champion added that he had more questions than answers after the loss too.
The match between the pair was another slobber knocker of an affair. The clash spilled to different locations and it took Candice LeRae to decide who the winner was.
She first kicked her husband, Gargano, below the belt which surprised Ciampa. The Blackheart decided not to take advantage of the situation and was almost remorseful of how the rivalry had grown between his former best friend.
However, this was all a ploy as LeRae then kicked Ciampa too with Gargano acting. Gargano was wearing a guard and took out his rival and pick up the win.
Gargano and LeRae celebrated as Ciampa was left to contemplate on what might have been.
The Blackheart thinking about his future is certainly interesting as he could be moving to another brand. The same could take place for Gargano too and hopefully, WWE creative make the right decision with their futures.
Ciampa and Gargano are two of the best on NXT, but we have seen many characters get ruined when moving from the Black and Gold brand to the others.
