“I have to make that right” – Nikki Cross opens up about abandoning Alexa Bliss

Nikki Cross pushed away Alexa Bliss on SmackDown and left her open to an attack from The Fiend

SmackDown star Nikki Cross took to social media and spoke about her relationship with Alexa Bliss.

The pair are former Tag Team champions but their relationship came under a lot of strain a couple of weeks back.

Cross lost the chance to win the SmackDown Women’s title and pushed away Bliss in anger. This allowed the Fiend to attack Bliss as the Goddess was left all alone in the middle of the ring.

The Fiend tried to do a similar action last week too, but Bliss was able to calm him down.

Nevertheless, Cross had not been seen during last week’s show and she decided to speak up about her actions.

Cross was extremely emotional in the video and just wanted to make things right:

“I keep replaying it over and over again in my head, pushing Alexa down like that.

“I think I let the obsession of becoming SmackDown women’s champion just get to me too much, I let my best friend like that. For what? I didn’t win, so, what was it all for?

“I just want to talk to her so badly, I just want to tell her, ‘I’m sorry’, I did this and it is all on me. All of it.

What is next for Cross and Bliss?

It will be interesting to see what goes down on SmackDown this week. Bliss meeting up with The Fiend and not being scared of him opens up several avenues for WWE to push this forward.

However, Cross coming out with an apology of sorts is also a great move. She was close to winning the title and hit out at Bliss in a fit of anger.

The SummerSlam battle between Braun Strowman and The Fiend should be a brilliant battle. However, the two best friends in Cross and Bliss could have their own storyline leading up to the PPV as well.
