WWE Chairman Vince McMahon wanted to punch a journalist
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has always been known for keeping composure during interviews, but there was a time when he actually wanted to punch a journalist because of their behavior.
This happened in 2001 when HBO interrogator Bob Costas interviewed The Big Man when the interviewer constantly tried to push the conversation towards a direction that McMahon understood.
He mentioned that the Journalist kept interrupting him during the interview and brought topics completely irrelevant, and McMahon was clear that he didn’t want to hear any of his answers.
“Once we were doing the interview, he kept interrupting me and interrupting me, and bringing up topics that had nothing to do with what we were supposed to be talking about. He kept trying to do the ‘I gotcha’ kind of thing. It was clear he didn’t want to hear any of my answers.” (H/t The Sun)
McMahon mentioned in the interview that he was really ‘P***ed off ‘with the Journalist and wished that he was not shot and all; otherwise McMahon wanted to beat the s*** out of him.
“I was sitting there really p***ed off and started thinking, I wish he wasn’t 5-feet high and 140 pounds. If he was 6-5 and 295, he would deserve to get the s*** beat out of him. I could have really given them some great television.”
Coster had a lucky day; otherwise, let us not forget that Vince McMahon is a pro-wrestler.
