Indi Hartwell posts heartfelt message for Candice LeRae after this week’s NXT
Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT saw Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell win the NXT tag team title rematch against Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon.
The Street Fight match was intense and a very entertaining watch with ‘The Way’ members finally emerging victorious at the end. This was LeRae’s first WWE title as well.
Hartwell has had some issues with her stable, The Way, in the past few weeks because of her relationship with Dexter Lumis. But that seems to have not come in between LeRae and Hartwell.
The two seem closer than ever and looked to have great chemistry when took apart the former champions, Blackheart and Moon.
LeRae is 35 and Hartwell is just 24, so it is obvious that LeRae would be the one who assumes leadership in their team.
Indi Hartwell has nothing but good words for Candice LeRae after NXT win
This is what Hartwell indicated as well when she wrote a beautiful message for her tag team partner on Instagram following their victory.
She wrote how LeRae, who is the wife of The Way leader, Johnny Gargano, is a mother/sister/friend- all-in-one for her and how much she gets to learn from her tag team partner.
“The wrestling world is a better place with @candicelerae in it. She is so damn selfless. The amount of knowledge this woman has is mind blowing – she teaches me things even when she doesn’t realise. I’m so grateful to be by her side. I don’t know what I did to deserve this, but I’m eternally thankful that she is in my life, as a friend/sister/mother (it’s complicated)”
The two are now the latest to hold belts in their stable, where Austin Theory remains the only one without gold.
He can change that, however, when he takes on NXT champion Karrion Kross next.
