Indi Hartwell has fallen head over heels for Dexter Lumis and tried to kiss him on NXT
Love is in the air on NXT with The Way’s Indi Hartwell going gaga for Dexter Lumis. The Australian teamed up with Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano in recent weeks.
Hartwell has helped LeRae and Gargano to a few wins but the real story has been her love angle with the mysterious Lumis.
Lumis has battled for Gargano’s NXT North American title but this love story could derail all of that. Hartwell is fascinated and obsessed with Lumis and last week, he helped her to the back.
This week, Hartwell was seeing Lumis almost every where she went and she even became a distraction for Lumis in his match against LA Knight.
Lumis also seems to be interested in the lanky Aussie and that distraction ended up costing him the match.
Knight picked up a huge win on NXT but there was something more to come for lovebirds Lumis and Hartwell.
It was almost the first kiss
Hartwell climbed up to the apron and was going to kiss Lumis before The Way pulled her down. Lumis too seemed attracted to all this and, as usual, he didn’t have much to say.
However, one fan brought up how Hartwell’s kissing action seemed similar to that of a fourth-grader. The puckered up lips and closing of the eyes didn’t sit well but Hartwell claimed that this could have been her first kiss ever:
“Maybe it is my first kiss….”
This is a fun love angle that WWE has done and it is different from the horribly cliché ones they have worked on SmackDown and Raw.
Hartwell certainly has gone gaga for Lumis and it will be interesting to see what happens on next week’s NXT.
