Candice LeRae reacts to crazy Io Shirai NXT Halloween Havoc bump
Io Shirai and Zoey Stark put their NXT Women’s tag team titles on the line in a triple threat ‘scareway to hell’ match on this week’s NXT Halloween Havoc and gave fans an event to remember. During the match, one half of the defending champions Io Shirai had a scary moment. Candice LeRae took to Twitter to react on the same where she said:
“She made her Mama proud. @indi_hartwell”
LeRae seemed to be happy that her former rival Shirai landed awkwardly on a ladder. LeRae said that she was proud of Indi Hartwell fordoing so. It is worth noting that Shirai was pushed off from the ladder by Hartwell who was the former tag team partner of LeRae.
LeRae and Shirai had a long running rivalry earlier this year where the two even squared off in the ring multiple times. Shirai and Stark ended up loosing their titles in their match.
What happened in the NXT Women’s tag team championship match?
As mentioned earlier, the match was a scare way to hell ladder match which added to the already pretty cracking triple threat match up. The defending champions Shirai and Stark went up against the duos of Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne from the Toxic Attraction and also Persia Pirotta and Hartwell.
The match was a truly entertaining one with a lot of brutal action. In the end the members of the Toxic Attraction managed to win the titles. The NXT Halloween Havoc proved to be a pretty successful night out for the stable as their leader Mandy Rose won the NXT Women’s championship in the same event when she defeated Raquel Gonzalez.
