WWE Hall of Famer Edge’s heel stable known as The Judgement Day has wreaked havoc on Raw over the last few weeks. Latest rumors suggest Corey Graves joining the faction next.
The faction comprises Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest and is led by the Rated-R Superstar. Edge has mentioned in his promos how Judgement Day is here to right all the wrongs in WWE and serve justice.
The former Brood member has cut some eerie promos ever since the formation of the group and has also teased more WWE Superstars joining the faction in the coming days. This week on Raw, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were scheduled to face AJ Styles and Liv Morgan in a mixed tag team match. Before the match, The Judgement Day came out to the ring to deliver another promo.
Edge named a few wrestlers who could be in line to pledge allegiance to his villainous stable. He mentioned the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Corey Graves, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre, and AJ Styles.
Interestingly, Corey Graves was among the names mentioned by Edge. Graves has been out of action after sustaining several concussions and he eventually announced his retirement 7 years ago.
Corey Graves seemingly tweeted his reaction to Edge naming him on the list of wrestlers who could join The Judgement Day
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported earlier in the year that WWE announcer Corey Graves has been medically cleared to compete.
Graves wrestled a few matches on NXT and he had a great match with Seth Rollins. The current Raw announcer almost had the match won when the other Shield members, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns came out to beat him up.
Graves’ last official match was back in March 2014. During his stint as an announcer, Graves won the WWE 24/7 Championship on one occasion.
Graves took to Twitter after Raw and posted a picture of a justice scale. The tweet is attached below.
If Corey Graves returns and joins The Judgement Day, it could give a great kickstart to his second-stint as an in-ring competitor.
