WWE Superstar Damian Priest recently lost his United States title. So, is he going to be at WrestleMania 38?
Finn Balor dethroned Damian Priest to end Priest’s highly successful WWE United States Championship reign. He lost the title to Finn on RAW, and since then, he has turned heel and even attacked him.
They had numerous feuds over the title, and Priest even beat Balor in a non-title match on Monday Night RAW. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, A United States Championship match was scheduled for Balor and Priest at WrestleMania.
“In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote that a United States Championship match between Finn Balor and Damian Priest “was scheduled” for WrestleMania weekend. Though WWE has officially announced nothing, Meltzer noted that Priest’s victory over Balor on the Mar. 14 episode of Raw (thanks to a distraction from Austin Theory) suggests that the two will square off at WrestleMania.”
It will be interesting to see whether Finn and Priest will eventually face each other at WrestleMania 38 or not.
Damian Priest reveals advice from Triple H that “Changed his Life.”
During a recent interview with ViBe & Wrestling, the former WWE Uniter States Champion Damian Priest where talked about how Triple H’s advice changed the trajectory of his career.
“What changed my life was when Triple H told me: ‘I want to see the person I’m seeing here in the ring. When you’re between the ropes, you’re playing the role of a wrestler, but I don’t want that, I want to see someone else. When you learn to be yourself, you will have an amazing career.’ When he told me that, I didn’t understand because I thought, ‘How is that? How are you telling me that I don’t know how to be myself?’ (H/T Wrestling Inc.)
He mentioned how it is essential to enjoy performing on the ring, This advice has helped him a lot in his career transformation.
“Until one day, I realized what he was saying and I understood everything. I don’t know why but it’s hard to be yourself in front of the camera because it changes the way you talk, the way you walk, everything, and the day came when I relaxed and began to enjoy myself. Every day that I go on stage, I am enjoying my tempo, even when I take hits, I enjoy it, so for me, that was the best advice”.
