Bayley and Finn Balor came through the NXT ranks and some believed the pair were married after a storyline
Former WWE SmackDown champion Bayley opened up on one of the craziest queries regarding her.
Bayley, who was in a relationship with Aaron Solow until recently, was speaking to Renee Paquette on the latest Oral Sessions podcast.
While the WWE star opened up on a lot of topics, one of them was her relationship with Finn Balor. Bayley and Balor came through the NXT ranks and have held the top titles in WWE. Balor is back on NXT and doing a fine job while Bayley has turned heel.
The pair also had some great moments on NXT and Paquette brought up something interesting. The former WWE host claimed that while researching on Bayley a query popped up, ‘Is Finn Balor married to Bayley?’.
Paquette asked why this was even a question and Bayley opened up on all this:
“I don’t know that is weird.
“It wasn’t even a storyline, we kind of made it up at NXT. He sprained his ankle and wasn’t having a match and everybody thought it would be funny if I did his entrance cos my character is whatever.”
Bayley added that this video got a lot of views and even Balor did her entrance. WWE then just went with it, especially given how different the characters were:
“I think it was, I was such a different character and he was a demon, and seeing us together was insane.”
Finn Balor puts Bayley into trouble
The Role Model then brought up one incident that got her into trouble in her previous relationship:
“One time I got into trouble with this in my past relationship. We took a picture with his parents and we were hanging out backstage and people were like, ‘Oh my god. Are you really together?’
“We are obviously not married. He is married to a beautiful woman and seems so happy, but that was so much fun.”
The pair also worked together on the Mixed Match Challenge, which used to stream on Facebook.
Balor is currently married to Fox Sports journalist Veronica Rodriguez and the pair tied the knot in August 2019.
