WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to get a Netflix Documentary produced by WWE?

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon are subjected to be a multipart Netflix Documentary as per WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan as per Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Bill Simmons, who founded The Ringer and Co-Created ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary series, will be the executive producer as Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT. The McMahon piece will be one of the highest budgeted docs in Netflix history.

This was announced in 2020 when WWE first announced that they had reached a “groundbreaking deal” with Netflix for the Vince McMahon documentary.

Vince McMahon Netflix Documentary Reportedly still in Production

The fans become more curious with each passing time about where the documentary film stands now. According to PWInsider, The documentary is still in Production. It was also noted that though not confirmed.

There are rumours that his match against Pat McAfee and the subsequent interactions with Stone Cold at WrestleMania 38 might be in the final project.

The release date for the documentary or even the official title has not been finalized. Chris Smith, who directed Netflix’s Fyre Fest documentary, will also produce the doc and WWE Studious. 

WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon appeared on the “Token CEO” podcast, where she revealed that the documentary will be split into four episodes. It will also give a glimpse into Vince’s past.

“You’re going to learn things you’ve never learned about Vince McMahon. This is his story, his life, and it’s a little-known story. My dad grew up in a trailer park in North Carolina. A lot of people don’t know that.”

Nick Khan also made some statements hyping up the project as “out of this world”.

“We have seen early cuts of our upcoming Vince McMahon multipart Netflix documentary, which is executive produced by WWE and Bill Simmons, who did the acclaimed Andre the Giant documentary with us,” Khan said. “The Vince cuts are out of this world, amazing. Wait until you see it.”
